The Virginia War Memorial Carillon
The Virginia War Memorial Carillon is located in Richmond, Virginia and was built in 1932. Before its opening and conception, the designer Cram & Ferguson had never thought that their limestone, brick and terra cotta Georgian Revival Bell Tower would ever be designed to facilitate a backhaul system for cell phone carriers.

   By installing this new custom pipe mount and replacing the window grating for the antenna, this structure can now facilitate the growing need for cellular technology without compromising the integrity of its historical surroundings.

   W-T Communication Design Group, LLC designed a custom fabricated standoff pipe mount. This would be located above the window that would allow the antenna to function.
