Formed in 1971, the WT Group grew from humble, entrepreneurial beginnings in founder Donald R. Triphahn’s Hoffman Estates home to a full-service engineering, design and consulting firm committed to providing world-class engineering and design services to a range of clients from local businesses to multinational corporations.
For over 50 years, the WT Group expanded its portfolio of design and engineering services to include Civil Engineering, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection Engineering, Land Surveying, and Telecommunications Engineering. The range of successful projects on which the WT Group has participated includes apartment buildings for the elderly, libraries, financial and religious institutions, gas stations, restaurants, cell sites, office buildings, park district projects and healthcare centers.
